I'm guessing new anime but I'm hoping it's something that would explain why chapter releases have been excruciatingly slow and after the big project it'll pick up!
As much I've dreamed of a new anime I also fear it (lol). If it is, will it pick up where the original left or will it be a whole new adaptation more faithful to the manga 'a la' Sailor Moon Crystal? Which studio would more likely be able to pick it up? Will the character designs look more like pre-vol.12 or more like Matsushita's current style? I really hope for the latter, I don't think there is another shojou manga that looks as amazing as the chapters currently being serialized (for me YnM feels so out of place in Hana to Yume haha). Also, I would definitely be less worried if the manga was finished before that, for fear of filler episodes or worse, being left with a cliff hanger or generic ending. Maybe the OVA format is better for this production than TV (like Ai no Kusabi was, but we all know how that went lol.) Wow look at how much I've rambled...
Re: the art style... I actually do like the new art style, and it makes more sense in many ways for a new anime to use it... but personally I'd find it weird for an anime to use it, because it's so different from the majority of the series.
A lot of it would depend on how they adapted the designs; after all, I like the character designs in some panels, but in others they don't look as much like the characters as I want them to.
