I finished the body of the Hap I'm working on. That being said, I started the border/bindoff. Holy crap! 448 sts to bind off as I create the border lace. But, I've only been knitting on this since April so, I'm doin' good. But still. *whine* -
Hot!!!
It's so hot here that every morning the windows are steamed up. I went out yesterday to do some weeding but had to come right back in. It was so hot that I was sweating in five minutes. The temperature is 99 right now and still going up. Ick! And no relief in sight ( Read more... ) -

Struggling
I'm really struggling with my next story. I actually have two on the go at once and I'm not doing well. Heat makes me lazy, no matter if I'm actually out in it or not. The temps have been in the high 90's for the last few days and all I want to do is veg. I have a filthy house and laundry up the hoo-ha. Ugh. -

Patterns
I love Ravlry, it's a great source of free patterns. But ... just recently someone has been uploading patterns from the '80's. OMFG! The shoulder pads!! Holy Moly. I wore shoulder pads because my shoulders are narrower than my hips but these are ridiculous. Seriously. (I thought they looked stupid when they were in fashion. Now? ROFLMAO)
