I'm surprised there aren't any bargain theaters still showing HP4 or even an IMAX. But don't despair too much. It'll be out on DVD soon. I know that it would be cool seeing it on the big screen, but to be honest, I wasn't thrilled with HP4 as a movie. I know the reason why... it was my favorite book of the series, so I felt like it was short changed in the movies. But it's still worth a viewing, no doubt.

At least there aren't super long waiting periods nowadays for DVD releases. I remember in the old days of VHS that it would take up to half a year or longer to get out new releases. But now, it's a matter of six weeks or so. I actually just looked it up, and the DVD is being released March 7, so you'll have only about a four week wait. That's not too bad...

You're right, at least the dvd will be out soon. One thing that Dan and I are splurging on for our new house is a big tv so I will be excited to watch it on that. I loved book 4 too. I don't know that I can say which one is my favorite so far until I'm done with 6.

POOR Jess!!!!! That totally sucks, dude. But, like Marcia said, it won't be too long before we can buy the DVD. And think of all the awesome deleted scenes we can see, too, which you wouldn't have in the theatre.

I know!!! I can't wait to see the deleted scenes. So much fun.

I'm about halfway through with book 6. I haven't had much time to read the last couple days so I plan on trying to get a bit more read today. I love it so far.
