Local shooting today

If anyone either in the DFW area or in Texas in general, if you heard the news today about a shooting involving 3 ppl, that took place this morning IN MY FUCKING BUILDING

I guess it was great timing on my part but sucks that such a thing had to happen here. It just never ends w/the recent jump of nut jobs targeting ppl whether it be at work or stores.

Amazing luck indeed! I'm so thankful that I left when I did. Reading up more about the nutjob who did the shooting had a good bit of issues in the past & present to the point that even those he was close to haven't heard from him in awhile AND he used to be a lawyer.

I'm very grateful/thankful that I had left when I did.

And yeah, I went back to work. In fact, they didn't even close early, at least the company I work for stayed open. They did tell the employees that they could leave if they wanted to but I don't think many did. They did have a grief counselor come in today for those that wanted someone to talk to about it.

There was a shooting outside a Walmart in Commerce on Sun which is like 67 miles east of Dallas and now this. But considering the company I'm contracted to, I'm thankful we haven't had to deal with any of the nutjobs actually coming to the office & causing problems. The company I'm actually employed through doesn't pay me enough to put up with that kind of bullshit. I will always be thankful that I left when I did.
