A visit to the vet
As stated previously, my dog Otis is a wimp. We changed to a vet that was within walking distance so Otis won't have to endure the overwhelming trauma of a car ride. OK, that's only partly true. We did it so WE wouldn't have to endure Otis :)

Here are some pictures of the dogs. Jack has the dark/brindle coat while Otis has a brown/white coat. This is them taking advantage of Becki's leg while she was trying to nap on the couch.

Otis is a wimp.
That would be my dog, Otis. In most respects, he is the alpha male of our two dogs. He always pushes his way through every door way ahead of Jack. Jack always waits for Otis to start eating before he will. If a strange dog "invades" our home, Otis is the one to lead the charge. It's smoking time!
I fired up the smoker for the first time of the season today. I've got a brisket & a couple of slabs cooking away. I'm always nervous that my first time of the year won't turn out well. I've been keeping the fire fed and making sure my water pan doesn't run dry. I'll let you know how it turns out! -
Missing my grandchildren

Food!
Becki & I went to YJ's Snack Shop this afternoon. It's a small neighborhood place that has been featured on Diners, Drive Ins & Dives. I had a Mufalletta(sp?), a sandwich with salami, Ham, cheese & an olive relish. Becki ordered the Mac & Cheese. While my sandwich was awesome, the Mac & Cheese was freeking AMAZING! I hate being sick
I had the week from hell at work. There was a problem with a very high profile customer that stretched out over 4 days. Of course, this meant working overtime.
