Rolling Stone published another "100 Best Guitarists Evar!" list. Keith Richards made it to #4. Really? Over B. B. King? Over Albert King? Over John Petrucci? Seriously?
Maybe I expect too much from the music press. I never got over the (VH1?) "100 Best" list of rock bands/artists that left Jerry Lee Lewis out.

Good news - I found a smoker on clearance at Sam's Club. Bad news - I still couldn't afford it. Good news - I got called in for overtime so I can now afford the smoker. Bad news - I got called in at 0400 this morning. Good news - I smoked some chicken & it is awesome. Bad news - The ribs are still not done & I'm sleepy as hell...

I worked 16 hours yesterday. When I got off work I was still wired so I was up until 0200. I just woke up! Time to get busy enjoying the weekend! Chiefs take on the Dolphins tomorrow. Let's make it 5 in a row!

I'm soooo glad I was able to take today off so I could recover. I did more screaming at that game than I have all season. Sure we still have lots of room to improve but I gotta say that I'm so thrilled that the Chiefs kept the winning streak alive. Plus, it's also pretty sweet when a trash talker like Rivers makes a fumble at such a critical time.

I killed my phone. It must have fallen out of my pocket on the Mamba. It survived The Patriot, The Prowler, and Spinning Dragons. The one ride that doesn't twist, spin or go upside down managed to free my phone from a buttoned pocket.

That was a busy weekend. Saturday morning I got up early to head out to the International Linemen's Rodeo. If you're interested in learning more about that check here http://www.linemansrodeokc.com/.
