There's something about driving to work on a monday morning and seeing snow on the mountain tops and a full moon still visible in a perfectly bright blue, cloudless sky that gives you a lovely warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Another weekend, another fun way to abuse the body. Second tramp completed, woohoo. Set off on Saturday morning for what was going to be a 5-6 hour tramp. 10 mins in we had to whip off socks and shoes to cross a knee deep river, very cold at this time of year. And now my fingers smell of basil.

He was just sitting there with his wings outstretched soaking up the morning sun. So whilst I was watching him, I nipped the tops off my basil plant to stop it growing up and make it grow out.

Nobody at work is wanting to smell my fingers though.

Crap weekend, weather awful, brook next to house rising very quickly (eek), very few people at work today, money limited, mate irritating me.

But, despite all that, feeling rather chipper, just bored. I guess I'll have to resort to actually doing some work, sigh.

Hmmm, yesterday I got bored at work and put my hair in a pony tail and lopped off a couple of inches. It looked a mess.
