Currently watching Honey and Clover, one of the dullest dramas ever

You know, if you turn away from something even a short time it may disappear completely like a flash of lighting. But you can either count on ones to come soon after, or the next time there is a storm. That is what I thought about all the good times with friends and memories I made with them. In reality they were longer but when you try to think ( Read more... )

Those are fun stories! It sounds like you're still having loads of fun, I misses you. I'm making huge summer plans which shall be fantabulous. AND they announced the first musical guest which is JAM Project. : ) They are awesome. Masami Okui is in the band, she was a voice actress and songstress for like...everything. I think you would probably be the only other person to remember. I was excited everyone else was like, say what? yippee. : ) Class is hard and ridiculous, boo hiss. I wanna be done, we are gonna go to six flags, the strawberry festival, green dragon market, shady maple, and the cherry blossom festival for starters. Five billion summer plans!

I was just talking about taking Yohei to six flags. The music at USJ reminded me of the music they play there. HAHA I remember when we were kids your mom did not want you and your brother to go on rides. I think she scared the pissnit out of you two or something because you wouldnt go on rides with me when we were younger. What is the strawberry festival? I have heard of it before. But I never heard of the green dragon market. Which Cherry Blossum festival are you going to? My taiko buddies will be at both. They are living at ursinus for 2 months next year. The one in Washington DC was a big rip off of Otakon and there were no Cherry Blossums. The one in Philly was small and the food was a rip, bring a picnic or something. But the trees were beautiful.

I can imagine that going to a place like Universal that is just like the original in America would be really nice after being away for so long. I am so ambivalent about moving out of the country. Part of me would really like to; there are parts of the world I would really like to experience in that way, but at the same time, I know my family (especially my mother) would be really upset by it. And there are things I'd miss about the US, too. Because I want to work in publishing, I'll probably end up in/near NYC, which from an arts and culture standpoint isn't so bad. :D

I don't know why I rambled like this. It's really not related to your entry at all.

O but it is...my last words were about moving. LOL since we will be seniors soon, I know the future is on our mind more then ever. But you right, I deal with home sickness in a different sense, so I miss people, but I take solace in eating McDonalds or something silly like that. American bands and brands are so popular here, you would be surprised how confused I get sometimes. In Osaka there is this place called American Villiage. But it really doesnt have a lot of american things at all. Weird...But good luck finding a good job near NYC. But friend got a translating job in New York and he loves it there.

Rainbows are beautiful. You really can never capture the true beauty of nature. It's fleeting, like time and life, but it's wonderful to revile in the moment. :) ~N
