i am not a fan of the waiting game.

it makes me nervous.

why can't i write papers?

internships applications were turned in wednesday.
i'm well on my way to my friday at 10 a.m. recital jury.
this week is going to be crazy, as exemplified by my 5-page paper on individualism in america due tomorrow at 11 a.m. that i haven't yet started.
but i'm okay with that - it keeps me on my toes.

i'm thinking of cutting myself off from the world for a week or so.
i just get too invested in conversations to get any work done.

i was just practicing liszt and i got my damper pedal foot confused with my soft pedal foot.
it took me an inordinate amount of time to figure out why it sounded so strange.

that's a sure sign of.... something.

i have some fucking amazing friends.

and i've finally decided on my new year's resolution:
stop planning my life so much.
and stop wondering what if.

now if i could only add doing my homework.
