In other news, I have a crush on someone, and I'm not sure what to do about it. I haven't had a crush on anyone in such a long time! But... it's sort of really complicated, so it's pretty much entirely wishful thinking.
Me too! What're the odds. Tell me, does your 'really complicated' beat mine? *It's about two weeks before summer, and he doesn't live in Houston *After break, I'm going abroad *After I go abroad, he goes abroad. *Oh yes, and the all-important: I don't know if he even likes me. Seriously. I must really *want* to fail at life.
OK, take out that second line-- the "I haven't had a crush on anyone in such a long time!" one, because... I get crushes all. the time. But this one is actually serious, which hasn't happened in a long time.
..........I'm not sure who has who beat. I think it sucks to be both of you. Though Lauren, if you had a wee bit of courage, you could actually do something about this!!! Oh, and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE never again call him the "junior pastor". He's the associate pastor. Hopefully he, nor anyone in his immediate family, will read your LJ. Trust me on this one.....a touchy subject. Oh.........psychology or economics.......if you had to take one course that would last for the next four years, which would it be? (oh my gosh....I'm sounding like Whitney now!!!) Oh, and thank you for updating! :)

Hello, Clark...........nice to meet you. I hope that in the future you'll find more positive results the majority of the time. Keep digging, but remember.......when one digs up courage it's always nice to have a little wisdom, too. (OK, that SO totally sounds like something you'd read in a fortune cookie....sorry!!!)
I am yet to see a "sort of really complicated" thing work out well. Actually, I found myself in the middle of one once. Failure all around. I sure hope that never happens again... ugh.
But, I'm an optimist. Best of luck to you in your endeavors.
I have no advice....you know I have bad luck choosing boys. but i would LOVE to know who this crush is. gimme a ring, we'll set up a linner and you can tell me all about it.

This little trait, on the rare event that I manage to dig it up, has caused mixed results.
A majority of the time, it screws me over. Pretty well. But, to date, I've always managed to survive.
When my courage does pay off though, I'm glad I was able to scrape it up off of the floor.
You must be Mrs. Eggers. I'm Clark, a classmate of Lauren's.
