The beginning of Kill Bob smelled a lot like Mr and Mrs Smith, but the writers managed to pull it off and make it workable. Between the explosions, the fight scene around the dinner table, and the inexplicable SUV-mounted pistol-joust, it felt like a return to season one, if briefly.
