I've been very busy this summer.

My brother started a new job which starts at 6 am monday-friday. But it's a 20-30 mins drive, and there are no buses that run that early. So I have to get up every morning at 5:21 am and drive him to work at 5:30. Go back home and get ready for work. I work from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

So my parents decided to get the greatest thing any human being could ever possibly buy in their life time a POOL!!!!

And not just any pool, it's a michael phelps master spa pool.

It has these jets that create a wave/current so that you can swim against it.

There's also a hot tub portion inside it.

So i'm become obsessed with listening to Florence and the machine over and over.

And so my ipod of six years has decided to stop charging this week in retaliation.

I ordered another one online, but won't be here for another 2 weeks.

I don't think i'll survive that long without an ipod attached to my eardrums.

My birthday was on the 9th. But because it's so hard to coordinate all my closest friends schedules for the same free night, we are finally getting together tonight at my house after im done work at 8:30 to play games, eat food and laugh our stomachs muscles out.

In the middle of exams. Last one is tomorrow from 6 to 8 pm. I hate night exams, it wastes an entire day.

So i'm part of a book club with my cousins. And by book club i mean we read a book and meet once every two months to eat and play games and discuss the book for 10 mins.

But this time the book was a agatha christie murder mystery book. So my cousin decided to organise a murder mystery dinner. With a 5 course meal.

So i didn't get to go over to mina's yesterday because when i got home from work at 8:40 i found out that my mom was having a massive gallbladder attack. My dad and brother had been trying to get her to go to the hospital but she didn't want to.

Went to see the Hunger Games yesterday afternoon. It definitely lived up to the book. Of course some details were left out or changed, but that's to be expected.

I already want to go see it again...

But instead i'm meeting up with mina tonight to talk about it, hopefully that will fill the need to watch it again until next week.

I'm not big on celebrating holidays other than 'christmas' (which i've started to just celebrate the fact that it's the winter solstice) and my birthday (and other people's birthdays). Those two always a huge deal at my house. My mom is christmas obsessed and we've always made a big deal out of birthdays.

So apparently my aunt had been having health problems for years and never bothered to see a doctor. My mom is the same way, whenever she's having health issues i have to force her to go get checked out. Well i found out about my aunt and forced her to go to see a doctor in late january.
