This morning I saw a truck in my rear view mirror with a great big neon '02 on the windshield, and a few miles later when he passed me, the truck had dealer tags on the back of it. Abby Isabelle Knox -- 20 inches long, 7 pounds, 1.9 ounces, born at 10:09 a.m. on January 3, 2004. My brother and his wife had their baby this morning. The neat thing is that she and my sister's daughter are exactly eight weeks apart. Playmates.

You have to love it when your lunchtime meeting gets postponed but no one remembers to tell the receptionist who actually orders your lunch on Fridays.

I just chopped at least six inches off my head. Well, it was actually my hair. And technically, my hairdresser cut it. But I authorized the decision. I dragged a co-worker over there as my model, and then I refused to look until she was finished. When I opened my eyes, I saw one thing: my twin sister Amy.
