I made two of my roommates, Casey (short brown hair) and Nikki (blonde hair) model for me for some photos for my portfolio that's due soon. I've only scanned in 4, but I really like them.

those are really perspectivally impressive. i don't know what the theme of your project was, but in the last picture i was kind of hoping you could have seen their undies or something, just to shock the viewer. but i like the dynamic, and the way that all of the pictures tend to associate with a common theme. or whatever that means.

you can tell those are posed shots. i think it would be better if they werent so much like that. the best porfolios are ones where people can pose for a picture but the picture looks like it was just randomly taken that turned into a piece of art. yours are pictures that seemed like you are trying to force them into art.

If you're going to critique my work, at least have the guts to tell me who you are.
I know that you can tell they are posed shots. They are supposed to be.
My portfolio isn't of people. These shots are to show some nighttime phototgraphy.
As far as your view on good photography goes, its very narrow minded. There's not just one way to take photos and have them look good.

so offensive. cant take criticism well? obviously not. this is kate. doenst make a difference does it? you still dont know who i am. narrow minded? just stating the way alot of people view as art. now chill out and finish your project.
