I am sitting here, waiting to guard, listening to the iPod and realized that there are some songs that make you remember a time that has passed. Today was my first day out. What an experience that was. We only had to go out about 20 minutes to reach the MPSA. On the way there (maybe ten minutes into the ride) an IED went off between the vehicle in front of me and mine (the LMTV). What a way to be welcomed in to the city. I have been kicking myself in the ass for the last couple of days. I did it again, I caved. I’m not really mad at myself for it though. I wanted it.
