I went to see the specialist yesterday to get the lowdown on what's happening. the good news is that the range of treatments, survival rates, and strategies for avoiding amputation is much bigger than when I was 14 and went through this the last time round. the bad news (personally in terms of how I'll feel) is that chemo is now thought to be ( Read more... )

I'm sorry to hear about the cancer. If you'd like any chemo tips, let me know. I went through adriamiacin, ifex, and methotrexate. You are in my thoughts.

Courage yellow. For what it's worth (i hope i don't embarass or offend you) but I have prayed for you tonight - that treatment will be successful, that you get to keep that knee and your mobility, that you are surrounded by loving and supporting friends and family to get you through the down times...and that God grant you grace, strength and peace through it all...
