I heart that book. I just suggested it to my book club, but they didn't go for it. Their loss.

Yeah, it might be difficult for people not used to reading stuff that old. I think Austen is easier because she's more consistent and actually funny. Anne's preachy and isn't as good with pacing. The Brontes aren't exactly trying for comedy. Aside from that part in Wuthering Heights when Heathcliff accidentally saves the baby's life. That was kind of funny. :)
