I have a job!! :D The one I had an interview for last week. I start either August 2 or 9, depending on how fast they process stuff. Woo!

Something I forgot to mention before - after the interview I found a fortune cookie fortune on the ground which said "be prepared to accept a wondrous opportunity in the days ahead." A sign, obviously ;)

Today I had an interview! It was at WPIC (western psychiatric institute and clinic) with a group doing research on placebo effects of smoking. The actual job seems a lot like the job I had at Pitt, which is good, it's stuff I'm comfortable doing. Whoa! I just found my spring break pictures! The ones I thought I'd lost when transferring them from camera to laptop. I don't know where they were or how I missed them if they were there all along, but... they have surfaced, and this makes me happy :) Not that they were anything spectacular, for the most part... but! As I mentioned before, I bought the dresser in my new room from the guy who used to live here. Because I didn't know if I would get to keep it or not until that happened, I hadn't opened it at all. This morning I woke up on the couch, which is basically where I've been living since I moved here almost two weeks ago, as my bedroom furniture consisted of one dresser that I didn't even own yet.
