2 things I will continue to do despite getting ridiculed for them

1. wear spf 50. i don't care how awesome tan skin looks, i am a pale girl and plan to stay that way. A few years ago, I had to wait almost a week for results of a mole removal and it's worth the teasing I get for constantly reapplying sunscreen to never have to worry like that again

Tanning booths frighten me. I dont see the appeal in being orange. I'm caucasian and I prefer to stay that way.

I am totally down with you on both counts. My lovely wife with the Italian heritage put some SPF 30 on my on vacation and I burned like I was wearing nothing. (except for my permanently red neck).

Earplugs, too. I've had tinitis since I was 9 and it only takes one good rattle to make it worse for a week.

i know, my ears have been ringing since saturday night when the volume was up too loud at the bar where everyone was watching michael phelps. i'm going to start having to bring earplugs with me everywhere.
