Did I tell you guys that I was making my own cheese? We went to a cheesemaking workshop through Seattle Free School. Which meant that we had to go to the brew store to buy cheesemaking supplies. We haven't tackled anything more difficult than chevre but I'm thinking feta is the next step up.

Oh wow. Nicely done! Why does a brew store have cheesemaking supplies?

The only reason I can think of is that cheesemaking is the fermentation of milk. Go to the brew store for all your fermentation supplies. :) It's amazing how easy it is, time consuming, but so easy. And there must be a trend going on now, when we purchased our supplies the clerk said that they had reinstated their cheesemaking class because there was such a great interest. Anyway, if you are interested in an easy project and enjoy goat cheese, chevre is one of the easiest to make. www.fiascofarms.com has many cheese recipes if you want to check it out.
