Do I really need to title it?
I've decided that I'm making many changes this year. One of them is to get back to journaling on a daily basis. I miss writing so I'm scheduling myself time to write. -

Oh man! The heat wave is here. Kind of wondering if we'll have another one towards the end of July like normal. We were at a birthday party yesterday. A bit too hot to have a party outside in the middle of the day. We all kept saying "I don't want to complain about the heat . . . ". Reality Check
Reality checks suck. Big time. And they always seem to occur when you least expect them. Today was pulling my phone out of my purse to check the battery only to find I had a text from a friend saying that his partner was in ICU after a fall on Friday and they expected to take him off the ventilator on Monday.

Why is it that when you try to declutter/clean one thing you end up with a completely huge mess somewhere else? I've been systematically trying to reorganize and clean the house. Co-sleeping
How is it that with one less person in the bed I still have the same five inches of space? Not necessarily complaining as we tradition to a big girl bed but still. I keep switching sides - cause I can- and the same elbow finds the same spot in my ribs.

Grumble grumble
I really dislike my neighbors right about now. A while back they installed a bunch of security flood lights in the side of their house. Lovely, except at 2am when you are woken out of a dead sleep. I'm thinking about practicing my slingshot usage.
