I've been playing Brick in Borderlands. Before I get too far into this, should I dump him and start another character? If so, which?

I'm just sitting here at work with nothing to do and reading forums and they all say he's sort of worthless.

I don't think he's worthless. His special attack is pretty fucking awesome.

But I did my first playthrough as a Soldier and it was pretty badass. I got class mods that replenish ammo and I regain health everytime I get a kill. Kind of makes the game a bit easier. Especially when you never have to worry about ammo.

I've only played Brick. I actually really like him. I love punching and being the muscle. However, it sucks because I also like aiming and being accurate with my guns. It's really hard to let that go at the moment.

The further along I get the less I'm enjoying him simply because everything has ranged attacks now and all my survivability means shit if I'm at no shield and half health by the time I'm up on them.
