I've been playing Brick in Borderlands. Before I get too far into this, should I dump him and start another character? If so, which?

Apple is awesome. The video card in my iMac crapped out Saturday morning. I took it to the Apple Store and had it back Sunday afternoon. And I totally appreciate the Genius keeping a straight face as I spelled out my account password. You, sir, are a professional.
