Chapter Two
Donghae sighed as he looked at his watch the next day. He was extremely nervous and excited all at the same time. He hadn’t seen Eunhyuk in two months and it was killing him. They were both juniors this year and he decided to study abroad during the summer for International Business. It sent him all the way to Spain for two whole months. They talked everyday but it was never enough. Hae missed him, but he was also worried. During their conversations on the phone Eunhyuk would mention a girl he met while there. Her name was JanDi and he seemed to be very fond of him since he mentioned her every time they talked. JanDi was showing him around the city. JanDi was helping him with his Spanish. It didn’t help Donghae’s insecurities at all. Before he could think too much about it he heard a voice call his name. He instinctively smiled before turning around to see the person he missed so much. He run into his arms and he happily kissed him.
“Hey you,” he smiled and he hugged him not saying a word. He was afraid to just in case it was a great dream. He leaned his forehead against him and he smiled.
“We survived it,” he whispered and he nodded as he looked in his eyes.
“Two months and I love you more than ever,” he said happily. They hugged again before he grabbed his bags and they headed back to campus.
Siwon and Mimi were spending time together on Mimi’s room.
“Siwon can you believe it.. were college now,” he smiled
“it’s a great thing being in college. and we can do what we want and no one is here to interrupt us,” he smiled. Then Siwon lean so that he can kiss Zhou mi but soon heard he phone ring.
“Spoke too soon,” he sighed and Zhou mi picked it up.
“Yea,” he asked out of breath.
“Did I catch you at a bad time or really good time,” asked Hyukjae as Zhou mi giggled.
“That depends, where are you?”
“Outside of the house,” he answered and Zhou Mi hopped up.
“A really good time,” he said and then ran downstairs as Siwon shook his head. Zhou Mi opened the front door then Hugged Eunhyuk who laughed.
“Hey Mimi, I missed you,” he smiled and Zhou mi hugged his friend tightly.
“I missed you too,” he nodded. Siwon walked downstairs and Donghae laughed looking at his friend.
“I see you are learning the perks of having your own room and privacy,” he teased and Siwon and Zhou mi blushed as they fixed their hair.
“Oh leave them alone” said Eunhyuk. Then he look at Donghae..
“Besides, I was hoping we could learn a couple of things about rooms and privacy as well,” Eunhyuk smiled and he looked at Siwon and Zhou mi.
“Ok this has been fun but got to go,” Donghae concluded and holds Eunhyuk hands and went to Hyukjae’s room. Siwon and Zhou mi just shook their heads smiling as well.
Later that night Yesung fixed his hair before knocking on the fraternity door. A blond man answered looking at him curiously.
“Who are you?” Yesung cleared his throat.
“I’m Yesung,” he answered and the guy shrugged as he began to close the door. Yesung stopped him.
“Hangeng and Siwon’s brother,” he finished and the guy thought for a second.
“Oh you’re Shinwa, sorry man my bad, they talk about you all the time totally slipped my mind though. Guess with school starting tomorrow I’m a little on edge you know,” the guy laughed and let Yesung in.
“Hangeng, Siwon, company,” he yelled and Hangeng turned the corner before appearing from upstairs. He smiled when he saw his dongsaeng who smiled as well.
“Yesung,” he said before hugging him. It seemed like forever since the last time they saw one another and Hangeng looked him over.
“You look good man, looks like Shinwa didn’t turn you into a wimp,” he teased and Yesung rolled his eyes.
“I can still give you a go in a fight anytime hyung, so where’s our little brother?” Hangeng put his arm around Yesung.
“If you were a freshman with all this freedom, where would you be?” They smiled at each other.
“Bedroom,” they said in unison and knocked on Siwon’s door. They both laughed as they heard shuffling around on the other side.
“Get your ass out here little brother,” called Yesung and soon the door opened. Yesung gave his brother a hug. Hangeng shook his head as Zhou mi appeared in the doorway as well.
“I know you two have a newfound freedom but as the head brother of the fraternity and these two idiots, I find myself having to say this. please, for the love of God, don’t let me walk in on you two.” Zhou mi blushed as Yesung laughed at the comment.
“Come on hyung you act like we’re new at this,” laughed Siwon and Zhou mi nudged Siwon as he blushed even more.
“What, he knows I love you,” added Siwon and Zhou mi sighed.
“Ok I don’t want to be a part of this conversation so I better head back to the house. Besides, I have my first class in the morning tomorrow so I better get some sleep.” he hugged Siwon and then walked out. Siwon smiled as he watched him leave.
“That’s cute,” teased Yesung and Siwon rolled his eyes as they all walked into his room.
“Come on hyungs I might be a freshman but I’m still in college can you treat me more like an adult?” Hangeng laughed.
“You’re in college but also our dongsaeng. Trust me I know what it’s like man. I just have to say it so I can get it out of the way. I’m not stupid,” explained Hangeng and Siwon just laughed.
“So new topic, Yesung hyung welcome to SNU. It feels like forever since we last talked so how’s life been treating you? Any someone you’ll be bringing to your room,” asked Siwon and Yesung rolled his eyes.
“Not really,” he said and Siwon and Hangeng looked at each other.
“So when was the last time you had a special someone then,” asked Hangeng and Yesung was quiet.
“Come on Yesung hyung don’t be shy it’s just us here. We’re your brothers,” tried Siwon and Yesung looked down.
“I didn’t date much while at Shinwa. I don’t know I guess I just wanted to focus on my studies,” he informed and Siwon looked at him confused.
“Focus on your studies, hyung you’re a student, not a monk, are you telling me you haven’t really dated since high school,” asked Siwon shocked.
“You mean you haven’t dated since Leeteuk,” said Hangeng nodding his understanding and Siwon soon caught on. Yesung sighed.
“The breakup was just….it was hard ok….and after I left the last thing I wanted to think about was that. After a while it just became a part of my life I managed to do without,” he explained and Hangeng and Siwon nodded.
“Well have no fear hyung because you’re with us now and I know we’ll have tons of fun,” smiled Siwon.
“Leeteuk knows I’m here right?” Hangeng and Siwon looked at each other.
“Yea….sure he does,” covered Hangeng and Yesung sighed knowing his brother was lying.
Leeteuk walked into the house that night. She had spent the whole day with Kangin and they were talking about their senior year. Leeteuk was so excited about this fall because he planned on finishing up some of his psychology courses and then taking some easy classes in the spring. If things went his way, he would be graduating with a degree in psychology in no time. He heard the door open behind him and saw Zhou mi.
“Look who finally came back from his boyfriend’s room,” teased Leeteuk and Zhou mi rolled his eyes.
“Hyung I would have been there longer if Yesung wouldn’t have shown up,” laughed Zhou mi but then he caught himself, “uh oh,” was all he could get out as he saw Leeteuk’s face.
“Excuse me,” Leeteuk asked confused and Zhou mi made a dash for the stairs, “Park Zhou mi get your ass back here,” yelled Leeteuk as he chased his dongsaeng.
Sungmin and Heechul were laughing in Sungmin’s room when they heard yelling.
“Code red, code red,” yelled Zhou mi as he jumped on the bed hiding behind Heechul. Leeteuk ran into the room out of breath as Heechul shook his head.
“You told him!” shouted Heechul and Zhou mi tried to smile.
“It slipped,” he defended and Leeteuk looked at them.
“You all knew!” he yelled at them and Eunhyuk and Donghae entered the room.
“What’s with all the yelling,” asked Eunhyuk and Leeteuk looked at Donghae.
“Lee Donghae you of all people would know, is Yesung on campus right now and if so why?” Donghae gulped and looked at his watch.
“Wow look at the time, I have class tomorrow, junior year here I come,” he said before kissing Eunhyuk and running out. Leeteuk looked at his friends in the room.
“Someone tell me, what the hell is going on,” he demanded and they sat him down on the bed.
“Eeteuk, Yesung is here,” stated Sungmin and he looked at Heechul.
“But not for a day Jungsu hyung, he’s staying, he transferred here,” confessed Heechul and Leeteuk sat there feeling like he had been punched in the stomach.
“Jungsu say something,” said Eunhyuk worried and Leeteuk hopped up.
“It doesn’t matter, that’s right, it doesn’t matter,” he began as they watched him pace, “Kim Joongwoon was a part of my past. I am with Kangin, I am a senior and head brother of Beta Sigma, my life is great.” They all nodded in silence.
“I moved on, I am not worried about my first love being back here, staying here, going here…” he regained composure, “I am going to take a shower, get some sleep, and then have a great first day of class without Yesung,” he concluded and then walked out. They all looked at each other.
“Well that went well,” tried Zhou mi and Heechul shook his head.
“You are such a freshman,” he laughed and Zhou mi rolled his eyes.
“Well even though I don’t believe a word of what Leeteuk just said, one thing is for sure, tomorrow is the first day of school and I am looking forward to sophomore year,” smiled Sungmin. Eunhyuk shook his head.
“Ok Zhou mi is a freshman, but Sungmin you’re just a plain nerd,” joked Eunhyuk and Sungmin playfully slapped Eunhyuk shoulder. They all got quiet.
“We all know Yesung being here is going to cause some problems right,” asked Heechul and they all nodded.
“Yep,” they said in unison and shook their heads.
