I have been following Cape Breton fiddler, Natalie MacMasters, for years and her Uncle Buddy before her. Natalie married equally talented Irish fiddler, Donnell Leahy, and they now have six children, ages one to ten. The four eldest are well on their way to sharing the amazing talent of their world-class fiddler parents. Here is a recent family

Adorable! You can really hear the origins of country/southeastern mountain music here. The rhythms and themes are very little changed from the music of their ancestors, the Irish/Scot settlers of the area.
