Jimmy Kimmel's wife gave birth to a baby boy on April 21st who was born with a congenital heart defect. This is the very moving monologue Jimmy did when he came back to the show. It's an amazing story, but don't worry, it ends happily. :>)

Good medical care shouldn't only be available to the rich and privileged.
Absolutely! It's downright shameful that the wealthiest country in the world (at least for now) doesn't have universal health care.

You'll get no argument from me about that.

I love all the late night talk hosts, but Jimmy Kimmel does the most heartfelt monologues of them all.

It was very moving and I felt it needed to be shared. I especially liked how he ended the monologue by pointing out how unfair our health care system is in so many ways. We really do need some form of real universal health care.

Portions of this clip appeared on all the news shows, Entertainment Tonight and the other late night shows. I hope it makes an impact on Congress.
