I know we're nearly a quarter of the way through 2017, and no one is even thinking about 2016, but I've tried my best to do this photo round-up for the last three years or so, and it's pretty interesting for J and I to look back on the things we've done. 2016 was very busy and involved much travelling. We were very lucky.

After the crazy chills of January, February has been really mild in comparison, almost spring-like. The buds are emerging, the birds are singing, the sun is out, and it's easy to think that winter is over... except that I doubt it is. Naples is widely-accepted as the home of pizza, which was purportedly invented here. Walk down any random street, and you will see at least one pizzeria. Even small cafes or bars have display cases with small margherita pizzas going for 1€. I can imagine every tourist eats at least one pizza during their time in Naples. Us? Didn't leave the flat at all today because of the grey weather and the rain, but somehow was kept busy enough and the time flew by. J left for Hanoi early in the morning, early enough to see the kids wake and have a quick cuddle before running off to the airport.
