If you were to write the following as your entire online dating profile, nobody will ever ask you for a date. But if you want to completely eliminate your chances, make sure not to upload a picture too:

Wow. She sounds like tons of fun and hot too. LOL. The only place that could possible work would be a Christian dating site, no?

If I do online dating again I want to write a totally subversive profile:

It's important to me to live every day to the half-fullest. Family is "meh" to me. I like long walks on the beach but only during tsunamis.

I suspect very few would "get" that though :)

I don't think it would even work on a Christian dating site, since most of it would be assumed. Unless you were going for the uber-hardcore guy who's more interested in Jesus than you.

Lot's of people open their profiles with a joke or some sarcasm. Sometimes it works, sometimes it seems like they are trying too hard. I like it when a girl shows some humor, talks about their personality a bit, and mentions things they like to do - or would like to do.
