I still read here but rarely post anymore. Honestly for me, I just hate having to remember how do do cuts and imbed stuff as I remember the FA rules for that since I do it more. Yeah, I almost could tell for the few times I did see you at MFF, you just didn't seem overly happy though again I didn't see you much and one of the times was during that fun evening in the convention center (urgh). As far as cons go, I have found that if I go in with absolutely no expectations or agenda per say, I have the best time. I do plan the parade, and maybe the games so I lied, but that's really all I plan. I am always amazed by the people who do those long journals chronicling every moment and everyone they meet at a con. Hell, I have trouble remembering what I did five minutes ago so I usually just touch on a few highlights. Feel bad you had a bad con but hoping FWA can be fun for you and all. Looking forward to seeing you again!

I have to nearly die to get this many replies.

Furry cons are pretty much what you make of them. If you only want to hang with certain people then you will have to depend on them to have fun.

I think if you expand yourself into meeting new furs you might find some of that freshness you are missing.

I find when I attend new cons I have to meet furs I do not know. They enjoy the antics I do and that I find refreshing.

for the most part that's what I've been doing. It's that I'm sticking to old habits of trying to schedule everything, high expectations. I took FC at a completely different approach. I'll be posting about it soon.

I honestly think LJ is going to make a comeback. I think people are getting sick of the soundbite Internet and there'll be a backlash that sees people dusting off their LiveJournal accounts, or at least going someplace with long-form posting and no constant rollover.
