Sadly rubbish like this is why I tend to stick outside of official fandom and not get too involved. Been burned too many times and just not up for it anymore. It's easier (in a lot of ways) yet at the same time kind of a bit harder, in that because I don't have many fandom connections anymore, I don't have the same access everyone else does to all the good stuff. But that's the price I'm willing to pay for my own sanity and well-being. (when I have ppl deliberately friending me to find gossip they can spread around to everyone, that is not cool. Especially bringing my family and my health issues into it. there's a reason I don't trust anyone. not anymore)
Maybe that might be something you could consider, but it has to be something that works for you. Some kind of happy medium might work too, tho how you'd go about that, idk...

omg hi bb ;;, i don't think we've talked since sj fandom?? and i've been out for a couple years now really like the people i do like. does that make sense? fandom, to me, is friends + the idol group + a load of shit. i can have the idol group on it's own, but i can't have the friends without the load of shit it seems u___u

Yeah, I've been out of touch since mr simple (AWFUL HORRIBLE single, whyyyyyyyy? *hated it so much*) really. More EXO obsessed now. :D But even then, I still kept myself to the fringes. I'm still getting ppl finding me on this LJ to do the same thing as my abandoned one (JE fandom) and it's frustrating me no end. For one thing, I made sure they wouldn't be connected (or shouldn't be), and also, I've been out of that fandom for almost 5 years. You'd think they'd have given up by now. >.< I'm not interested in fandom politics or drama, or any of that. *sighs* It sucks that ppl are trying to drag you into that too. :(
Health-wise, not so good recently, but I'll live. It's kind of why I don't say much, even here. Don't wanna give ppl sth they can use against me more than has already happened. I do keep up on my LJ friends as much as I can, but don't often feel there's much I can say/do/add. It can be discouraging at times cuz I kind of feel like a useless friend. :(
