Temeraire Fusion jas_themadtexan April 8 2011, 03:48:12 UTC
Want some kind of Temeraire fusion where the Mentors are Dragon Captains and YJ are the Heirs apparent to Captaincy. Play with it as you will just keep it gen please.

Bonus points if Batman's dragon is a Fleur-de-Nuit

OOOOOOooooooo yes! Temeraire is my favorite series!!

Batman would totally have a Fleur-de-Nuit. Clark would probably have one of the heavyweights, like a Regal Copper. Flash might have an Anglewing, because they're so quick.
Artemis would work really well with a LongWing (spitting acid long-range) but that would mean Oliver wouldn't be the captain. :/

Lol, maybe Aquaman has a Sea Serpent? XD

Freaking mind reader. I'd totally tossed the regal copper for superman and the sea serpents for aquaman in my head.

In dedication to the genius OP who came up with superheroes on dragons. >DWhen Kaldur'ahm first sees the creature, he cannot help but wonder at how ill-fit it is, for both land and sea. Its wings were bred broad, and no matter how enthusiastically he glided through the waters of Atlantis, the creature still seemed ungainly in the water, bulky and limbed and winged, compared to the streamlined serpents Atlantis has been known for breeding ( ... )

Conner really liked Clark's dragon, and considering his resemblance to the man, the League had held high hopes that they'd finally found a suitable heir to the massive Regal Copper in the event that Clark was killed or injured in combat. The first time they introduce Conner to the dragon ended in quite a disappointment when he, and just about everybody in the league, found out that Kalel kind of hated him ( ... )

Conner frowned as the runt dragonet finally managed to roll onto its back and nipped his finger. Unlike its properly developed brothers and their young, limited language skills, it didn't speak at all and communicated in small beeps and purrs ( ... )

Robin listened to the crowd roar in applause to the Flying Graysons of the Haley Circus, heart pounding as the Graysons swung overhead in the trapeze. They soared the sky as naturally as most dragon-kind, if not even more so, and darted from line to invisible line with grace and agility that even an anglewing like herself could envy ( ... )

Robin wasn't sure if she actually heard the gasp or just imagined it. A small cry, too familiar to be a part of the audience shocked by a supposed close call in the performance. Dick?

Robin whipped around, claws digging into the ground as she sprinted back towards the tent, running inside. She looked up at the performance, where John would've been holding Mary by the ankles and Mary would have an arm out to catch Robin. Instead, she found John, arms outstretched, eyes wide, and mouth slightly agape in horror with Mary's ankle free of his grasp as she kicked away from her husband to catch Dick as he was falling from the air.

She saw John relinquish his hold on the rope, trying to catch Mary who was trying to catch Robin, and they had all missed and they were falling apart and no human could survive a fall so high because they were humans and they were delicate and they needed her ( ... )

Artemis has always been the solitary type. In fact, a life in social solitary is kind of a general default mode for anyone who's ever had a villainous criminal for father. She grew up comfortable with being alone-which made her induction into the Justice League jarring, and by the time she has a dragonet pushed into her arms, her head is spinning and she's not even sure what to make of this ( ... )

M'gann doesn't enjoy the furtive ways of her role on the team, but her skills don't allow her much else, and the breed of the dragon that has chosen her only cinched her position.

The Grey Widowmaker beneath her pumped his wings in the air beneath her, and she could feel the muscles stretching and pulling as they soared above the sea, the salty air filling M'gann's lungs.

Kaldur! she calls in her mind, to let him know she's ready, and she feels the sea shift beneath them, the waves calming and a fog rising from the water ( ... )

These are all things from old drafts and/or things I couldn't find a place to use.“You're Roy,” she said. “What do you want?” The team knew better than to bother her during her downtime, and if Ollie's first sidekick was going to pick a fight about her place on the team, she was going to punch the guy, dragon or no ( ... )

This is brilliant and wonderful. Just so you know. I really like how to blended everything together so perfectly. And the bonuses? Win.

Thank you! :D To tell you the truth, I was tempted to just not post any of these because I was running out of steam towards the end, but then I read all the snippets that I didn't post and realized I still had fun writing it and, heck, might as well keep going.
