I would love it if some how Superman sees Batman being all super fatherly and awesome with his clone and realizes that maybe he shouldn't be so weary of Superboy. Or, vice versa Batman is weary of his clone and now understands Supermans hesitancy with Superboy.

Someone needs to please realize that it's kind of unreasonable for Superman to be thinking "I need to be a good dad to my illegal clone" when he's going through "Holy shit, someone stole my DNA to clone me and my powers and possibly use it to hurt people which is, you know, my worst fear."

But I also read the comics, and I'm so used to being angry because of how long it took him in the comics that it carries over a bit. It's not fair to this Clark, but there you go. I agree, though, someone needs to see his point.
All that said, I don't know which option I'd rather see- Bruce being a good dad to Terry would be awesome, but so would him seeing Clark's point. Gnnn! I guess I'll just hope someone fills this in any way!

Bruce watched the boy on the infirmary bed carefully, as he stood up and looked towards him. Teenager. Kaldur's age. Muscular, but leaning towards more acrobatic moves, at least until he finished growing. Then...
Broader shoulders, a lot more muscle, if he keeps up with the right training. Still fast, but will have to rely more on strenght.
The boy had his eyes, his haircolour. Was standing right in front of him now.
Terry McGinnis.
Looking hopeful, and wary as if he expected to be rejected.
Dick had told him what Cadmus had considered Superboy to be.
Not a real boy.
The idea was... tempting. Not his problem, just a mistake created by someone else.
No.
He knew that expression on the boy's face. Superboy had worn it, and it had fallen away, just like Terry's was now...
Not making that mistake.
He reached out, and put a hand on the boy's shoulder, smiling as much as he could manage.
"Terry, was it?"
Really need to talk to Clark later.Later. Not now. This... boy had first priority. Needed to ( ... )

Now, if Supes would just realize they were mistakes, everyone could go home happy. ^^

I really like how he learns from both Superman's mistake, AND his own, with how he had reacted to Superboy. I like that it's not this easy thing for him either, he just happens to be MORE adverse to letting Terry down. I also like how Dick plays positively into his decision, though I wonder how Dick will actually feel now he's going to have to share. (Will probably still welcome Terry in, he'll just have some issues on the side.) Very adorable fill.
