The Gotham City Police arrived to a scene that was completely tame.
And this, of course, astounded those who were not experienced with the kind of cape-wearing vigilantes who roamed the rooftops of the city. Meaning, none of them.
The call came in with the typical automated voice, blurred to the point of androgyny, but utterly recognizable in another way.
"There is something you should see at---...the old textile warehouse at the East End.And of course, when they arrived, the typical C-class crook apprehension display (familiar in all cities with crooks of the lower-threat levels and heroes in spandex to fight them) greeted them ( ... )

Secondly: lived it! I live how you not only worked in the dynamic between B and R but also showed the cops view on the matter. I love how Vivian defended Robin and the thugs freaking out about Robin. I really really live the whole thing about how Gothamites don't take well to outsiders cuz it's so true!

I'm glad you loved it. I went through like 3 incarnations of what this chapter should be, completely different directions by the way since it was supposed to be a post op cave scene originally, and then the Officer Vivian scene popped out because I didn't feel right without introducing some other views of Gotham and the duo...
And Robin's laugh is potential Nightmare Fuel, yes? That laugh of his...my headcanon, supported by this anon meme, is that it's the fault of overexposure to Joker's gas. But, again supported by this anon meme, I bet he has a great singing voice...
