YAY !

today is my last day of work... and then i get 2.5 weeks of paid vacation ! good stuff, good stuff ~

i'm gonna go to texas today to help move jeffy back to slo. we won't be back in california until monday of next week, right before christmas. =b

so i have other news, but i wanna tell my family first, so i'll post it later. =))

i've found that trader joe's has really good veggie packages for 1-2 people. they come in these little plastic bags that you just cut the corner off of and microwave like that, and they come out really good. they have quite a selection, too: green beans, butternut squash, brussels sprouts, to name a few. good, good stuff ( Read more... )

went to kat's party last night and had a fabulous time. made in wario (or whatever it's called) is the most fucked up japanese game i have *ever* seen... the guys who made it must have seriously been on something. it was great to visit with and meet everyone new, too. and johnny depp in pirates of the carribean was so hilariously funny... sadly ( Read more... )

went home and saw the parents this weekend... also had a nice surprise =b my brother drove down to stay with my parents too for his 10 year hs reunion, so i got to see him for a bit, which i haven't gotten to do since my graduation. it was nice to visit =) i miss him ( Read more... )

k so... i forgot to mention 2 things. we spent time friday night watching home videos from when jeff and bennett were kids. jeff was totally adorable, loud, and already a smart-ass as a little kid, while bennett was quiet, cute, and always upstaged by his brother. it's hilarious how things have changed now. =b also, we watched national lampoon' ( Read more... )

my weekend with jeff and his family was absolutely wonderful. they're all really nice and funny and treated me like another member of the family from the get-go, which was very comforting to me because i was meeting most of them for the first time and was a bit nervous about the whole thing ( Read more... )

finally just got my bed, and it's HRUGE !!! and i mean hruge ! it's as tall as my waist, and the sheets i got for it, that fit a 15" mattress supposedly, are too small. i'm sure it'll compress with use, though. ;)

gonna go get my oil changed ! got some cleaning done, too... been a very productive day =)
