Well, I'm back to Livejournal after a massive sojourn to the world beyond the Internet (if you're not familiar with it, it's kinda like the 'Net but with a powerful 3D-enhanced video card installed - more 'reality' but less failsafes and no reset button... try it sometime!). It’s so clear that I need a holiday - I’m out of sorts in so many ways that I don’t know where to start. But if I were to make a ‘cover-all’ statement of some kind, it’d be to say that I’ve been so profoundly influenced by the way people have treated me this year. It scares me a bit, really. I thought I was more resilient than that.

New Years Resolutions
Last entry for the year, time to think about 2009.
Like everyone else in the world, to lose weight - I've made a great start already this week, but I've never started from this weight before. In addition, I'm adamant about keeping it off - I'm a little bit embarassed about going out at times to be honest, so this is damned important.
