Appearence wise, the illustrations of Holmes was always a neat-looking sharp-faced guy with a goatee so I'm referring to that compared to Robert Downey Jr's character. Haven't read the books in ages, so can't really recall the minute details, lol.
But still, fantastic job of reconcilliating the book to the movie, not a slow pace moment to be found, which is usually the bane of any movie.
Guh, can't wait for the sequel!! (Hope it doesn't end in Holmes' death =_=;; )
Oh man, I hope not! I'd have to suffer through 1 year of a cliff-hanger before Holmes makes his appearence.
By the way, did you notice that they completely forgot the most classic line in the history of Holmes ever?!? Where's my "It's elementary, Watson?"? I heard "The game's afoot" twice if I'm not mistaken.
