UHHH NO WAY I DON'T BELIEVE THIS! Demora and Jo are kind of like, my crack Star Trek OTP but they sort of make sense to me and I DON'T KNOW WHY NO ONE ELSE SEES IT. So omg *FLAIL* YES OF COURSE PLEASE WRITE IT.

There's just not enough women in Trek, period. Er, well actually this pertains mostly to the reboot movie. But also yes, it's like a converging family tree of homosexual couplings and it makes me lol a little.

And yeah, the only canon we have for them are that they exist. So much thought will be needed. But it'll be fun, yeah? :D

And hahaha yeah omg the more I think about Demora/Joanna the more I love the idea. It's like royal intermarriage of great dynasties without the inbredness or snootiness etc

Thank you! Kind of makes me wish I had Chekov and Sulu for dads. Chekov might be a little difficult to live with since I think he has a harder time accepting the fact that his kids aren't going to turn out exactly like him. But Sulu's definitely a Cool Dad type. :D

Awww thank you! :D :D It was really fun to write this. Strangely enough this was a lot more TNG inspired in the sense that I tried to keep to TNG's mindfulness that this takes place 200+ years in the future, and then we have stuff like a Bajoran crew member, jazz and trumpet-playing, children aboard starships and addressing female officers as "sir". :D
