Anyway, don't complain, I have to put up with HOSPITAL FOOD! That or expensive 'charity' hospital shops, bloody rip off! Half my wages goes to them I am sure!

Ahh, but you could easily wait until you get home and still find plenty of places open that will serve you food. Morrisons is just bleak!

What, places like Scotmid or Asda? yeh MUCH better! Unfortunately I cannot afford to buy takeaway food everyday!

hot plate is good, if you get there early enough to get anything. Salad bar was amazing, but they've stopped all their nice salads! The restaurant is possibly the most expensive restaurant in Edinburgh!!!

There's always the Waitrose in Comely Bank if you could be arsed with the trek! Or the Jubilee chippy in Muirhoose. :P

Aye, I've trekked down to Comely Bank before and by heck its a hell of a hike! Takes ages to get there and thats walking downhill, never mind back up again!!

See, I'm tempted to venture into sunny Muirhouse and see what there is to offer, but fear takes over me.... maybe one day soon!

Jubilee's in Granton and it's still good, chippy in Muirhouse is called, strangely enough, the Muirhouse chippy and I wouldn't recommend it.

There's a a wee stack of shops on Ferry Road just after the bridge/roundabout, try along there for something different?
