The life of a mercenary maintenance worker is a rough one. Since I finished cleaning up the restaurant/bar/kitchen, they put me to use in Housekeeping, which mostly consisted of steam cleaning YET AGAIN (at least not on my hands and knees, thanks AB), but they only needed me for half a day. More and more people leave. Several of my remaining survivors/coworkers clocked in and out for the last time at KPL today. Several more will do the same tomorrow. I will be writing down some of my favorite memories/stories from Alaska in due time, the untimely semi-death of my laptop during my last few days in Alaska put a damper on doing so while I had massive freetime. technological terror
Within a span of 3 days, my laptop is now giving me the blue screen of death/aka I broke it and due to a freak restaurant pager accident, my Ipod screen resembles "the Ring" in the fact that whenever you turn it on, all that shows is a white screen complete with a black ring of nothingness with some warps and assorted "broken screen" shit ( Read more... ) -
