My friend, Martina Dawley, and her husband, rescued a puppy after they witnessed it get hit on August 4 in rural Arizona and watched the driver drive away without even slowing down. To make matters worse, when they tried to alert the people in the house nearby (who appeared to be the owners), they said to "leave it there" and remained unconcerned

Such a sweet looking dog. I can hardly believe that people will do things like that to animals. It simply enrages me. Thank goodness Martina and her husband were there! I've donated to help them in their cause.
