I'm an adult. I can make cranberry sauce anytime I want to. I've never made cranberry sauce before (someone else always cooks it for Thanksgiving) but it's my favorite dish of the holiday (followed closely by mashed potatoes and a slice of sour cherry pie right next to a slice of dark chocolate pie). Go you! you know those cranberries sometimes 'esplode' don't you? So way-to-go^2! It's inspiring me to make some too! I used to have a recipe that made it with apple cider & spices - I may have to dig that out!

Oo! I did not know they sometimes blew up! The cranberries I was dealing with got neat cracks all over and then collapsed into delicious mush. Maybe I will put more of a lid on them next time.
