The lit review is going better. I had an appointment at the Writing Center today. I tried to do what I could yesterday but I still felt stuck. They helped. I'm having my chest surgery in January!!! Someone whom I know (who shall remain nameless and not have anything else about their identity divulged) was generous enough to co-sign a loan for me when my family was not willing to help, and I got the approval today for disbursement. So I have two weeks left in Seattle. In some ways I wish I could extend my summer for another month. In other ways, it is time for me to get back- I feel frustrated now that my fun is ending here and I have to go back for another year. So I had to drop the 400 level class since although I can take the "leadership" section of the field experience that is required, I also have to take another section of the same course for my credential requirement. I spent all weekend doing work. I would have liked to have gotten up earlier so I could have attended the ACLC fundraiser/benefit on Sunday at the Ho, but I had some itchy throat thing going on and it was difficult for me to get out of bed so early- so my rest I did have. Thanksgiving has been tiring this year. I'm kind of homesick already. Lo and behold, it's finally registration time for next semester!!! Well, almost- at 6am tomorrow morning. I will have all afternoon classes and one evening seminar (which doesn't meet every week, necessarily) so my practicum will be in the mornings.
