The 7th graders are just finishing up learning about "Medieval Times to Today." Since the class is very small and we are doing some intense textbook reading to finish it off before the school year ends, we went outside and sat at a picnic table to read. I had a bad day at school. A bit ago when I went on a walk to blow off some steam and try to relax I decided that I was very sick of being the adult in chage of a bunch of kids. No more official knee updates. I saw the surgeon on Tuesday and he said my knee is very stable. I'm walking, but still a little gimpy. I can't quite bend and straighten my leg all the way yet, though it is close. Apparently I'm going to have to keep treating swelling for at least 2 months--also that long until I can run and bike safely. I'll be ( Read more... )

Today was my last work day off of work. It's good timing because I am just starting to feel like myself. Unfortunately this means I did not accomplish hoards of tedious tasks like going though and organizing ten years worth of photos while I didn't have much else to do.
