Last night I decided to rent a movie. I cannot remember the last time I rented a movie, it has been that long. Who would have thought that the first movie I chose to rent in the longest time would take place just blocks from where I live? And I had no idea before I started watching it. Absolutely crazy!

I found that if I bought an espresso maker on Amazon at the same time I got a book for my language arts class I could get free shipping--so I went for it. Soon I will be having after-supper-espresso in colorful cups and homemade soy lattes. Yay ( Read more... )

I just got back from a camping trip with families from the Christian Reformed Church I just started attending here. It was good. Good to get away and relax and be out in nature and to not talk and think about school and teaching for awhile.
