 So! The boyfriend turned me on to an ESL group that I could volunteer with through his dentist. I went last night and it's pretty neat, other than the fact that it's at a church and they do an opening and closing prayer which makes me feel awkward as hell. Cool! Are you learning Spanish too or is the group just for tutoring English? I've always thought those pair things where you teach someone your language and they teach you theirs sounds fun =)

The students, if I can call them that, are mostly Spanish speaking and are teaching the main teacher lady words here and there (She's pretty thick so it's so funny hearing her try to speak Spanish because she mangles the words horribly) but it's more for the people to learn English. It's definitely going to help improve my Spanish because I hear them talking with each other and can get better at understanding quick, under the breath comments, but Andres is really helping me improve, too. Actually a lot of people at work speak Spanish as well, so I really hope to be fluent soon! :)
