i'm beginning to become very bummed about my phone situation. i'm tired of waiting for it to come in, and being disappointed every day for the last four weeks. blarg. i know how emo i sound, i know.

today was a good day, besides this.

would/could it be possible to have such a creative group of friends that we needn't copy ideas from one another, because each of us would have so many of our own? would it also be possible for that same group of friends to be disinterested enough so that they would never compete for attention/excellence/etc. So we could all be. and grow. and create ( Read more... )

I'm back in Burnet. I drove back here (home?) from Dallas this evening. The drive was nice. I drove parallel to some wild-bright clouds most of the way, until I turned west and was headed straight into them. i should like to display less stress, and never lose my youth. i would like to believe that this year has been more inspiring than depressing, and more enlivening, than deadening.

it is summertime in burnet. i'm accepting almost all vistiors. the only persons not invited are the ones who either a)bring trouble into my life everytime he/she enters my life, or b) cannot pinpoint one thing he/she likes about nature, or c) if  he/she does not grin when they realize the fireflies are out tonight.
