I am stuck in my apartment due to flooding. All the roads in and out of Laurens (all three) are flooded out and you can't get in or out of town at the moment. What I did last time I got flooded in (in Baltimore) was think about all the stuff I was happy not to have to do that day. And, at least you currently have power and internet! But it is scary. *hug*

People are being evacuated left and right around here -- we're good because we're on a hill (and the stream behind the house is at the bottom of a ravine that if I were able to hold a measuring tape from my deck to the stream is probably about 50' below house level. There's been a lot of roadway flooding, but it's much worse closer to the larger creeks and rivers.
