The following poems from the November 1, 2011 Poetry Fishbowl are currently available. They may be sponsored via PayPal -- there's a permanent donation button on my LiveJournal profile page -- or you can write to me and discuss other methods.

[EDIT 11/9/11] This fishbowl has SOLD OUT! Woohoo!

" All You Can Eat" -- 37 lines, $15 SOLD
The result of your pr0n thread is the free-verse poem "All You Can Eat," in which a connection between shrimp and prawns and pr0n -- and the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico -- all come to the attention of Yemaya. You can imagine how well that is going to go over.

" Hothouse Hijinks" -- 15 lines, $10 SOLD
From your prompt about plants growing animals, I got "Hothouse Hijinks." This free-verse poem relates the mayhem to be had after fairies get into the greenhouse.

" How Skycat Got Her Name" -- 81 lines, $40.50 (Torn World) SOLD
From your prompt about "Torn World's Skycat" I got the free-verse poem "How Skycat Got Her Name." She wasn't always spotted, and she couldn't always soar through the air ... but she was always a very clever cat with a fondness for hunting butterflies.

" Overdrive" -- 5 lines, $5 SOLD
Per request for a rude limerick, I've written "Overdrive." A sex-powered starship picks up the wrong passenger and crashes into a planet. Oops.

" Pranks and Shenanigans" -- 16 lines, $10 (Waterjewel) SOLD
From the comment about alt.shenanigans, I got the free-verse poem "Pranks and Shenanigans," about cultural differences and linguistic overlaps between bandit culture and Waterjewel culture in the Whispering Sands desert.

" A Topsy-Turvy World" -- 8 lines, $5 SOLD
I turned a prompt into a title with "A Topsy-Turvy World," which is a triolet about a place where everything is somehow upside-down or backwards. It has a trippy little rhythm the way humorous children's poetry often does.

" Uplifted" (Path of the Paladins) SOLD
To your prompt about paladins and practical jokes, I added a bunch of other ideas from other folks dealing with the constructive and destructive uses of humor. The result is the free-verse poem "Uplifted," in which Shahana and Ari meet a priest of Talaton, god of balance. Things are shifting in the world...
This poem will become available after "Will Not" is fully funded.
