This month's theme was "fantasy in other eras," focusing outside the usual Medieval/Renaissance range. We wound up spanning everything from neolithic to space age, woohoo! You folks rock. I worked from 12:30 PM to 1:30 AM, so about 11 hours allowing for the usual breaks. Prompts came in fits and starts. I wrote 16 poems on Tuesday and 1 more later.
All of the poems were free verse. Most used a single prompt, or one fishbowl prompt and something from another fest. (I'm really liking the
Rainbowfic prompt lists.) A few poems stacked more. Poems clustered at the long and epic sizes, with little below that. Fantasy seems to trend long. There were only a few series poems this time, mostly stand-alone stuff. We covered a lot of different cultures; that was exciting.
Activity was okay, with 49 prompts on LJ and 15 on DW. A total of 22 people sent prompts. Please welcome new prompters DW user
Finch and
technogeekslass. You have them to thank for the extra freebie.

Buy some poetry!
The fishbowl has
sold out again. Yaaaay!
All the poetry has been posted. Per the $200 goal, "
Living on the Edges" (P.I.E.) is the free epic. Per the $250 goal, there will be a bonus fishbowl on Tuesday, April 16. Based on
an audience poll, the theme will be
Path of the Paladins. Per the $300 goal, you get a half-price sale, which I'll bump to next month since we're doing the bonus session this month.
I still need to write the donor perk-post. Donors this month included:
