Crazy Little Little Thing Called SCA
For many reasons, I am looking forward to this Pennsic more so than other years. As you all know, spring was rough. Roses
Well. Sooner or later we have to decide on Roses. Are we going? Right now I am feeling rather meh about going to an event. The weather has been awful and if it rains I am definitely NOT going. Crazy Month
For a quick re-cap: I went in for surgery on a Wed and was supposed to be released on Friday. I developed an unexpected infection/fever and stayed until Tues. That suck. By Saturday I was feverish and vomiting. Sunday was Easter (which my poor kids did not get to celebrate at all). Monday I was back in the ER and admitted into the hospital for ( Read more... ) -
Whiny Update
Coronation is today, and I am stuck on my couch! I really wanted to go. We were going to go as a family. G was going to enter the cake contest with Eleanor's L. But, I am on Doctor's orders to stay home and I am grumpy. My house is a mess, my husband does not seem to be capable of bending at the waist and actually picking anything up, and the ( Read more... ) -
Surgery
It is official. I go in for back surgery next Friday. I expect to be in until Sunday, but with my anesthesia issues, possibly longer. We will see. With any luck, my mom will come out next week to help. Right now I am resigned and a bit nervous ( Read more... ) -
Hurry up and wait
The appt with the neurologist was thorough but resulted in more tests, more drugs, and more waiting. Hopefully my appt next week will move us forward a bit.
To keep myself busy I have been doing lots of homework, working on the hood, and making necklaces for the Queen's box.
